Advent describes the period of time between the arrival of the Daban Urnud in one of four cosmi and its departure, usually leaving complete destruction and devastation in its wake. Natives of four different cosmi inhabit the Daban Urnud, unable ever to return to their cosmos of origin. According to Jules Verne Durand, nothing about a civilization is ever the same following Advent by the Urnud, and the changes are rarely for the better.
