The first empire to span the known continents of Arbre in antiquity. The language of Baz, Orth, continues to be used by the Avout more than 5000 years later. The state religion, the Ark of Baz, also continues to exist, albeit schismed into several sects.

Similarity to RomeEdit

The Bazian Empire bears a strong superficial resemblance to the Roman Empire: it succeeded and eventually absorbed a culture (Ethras) that had been responsible for numerous advances in philosophy and mathematics; at its zenith it spanned the world as known to its rulers at the time; and its official state religion continued to thrive after its fall. It also clearly resembles the Byzantine Empire, not just in name, but in religious implications as well.
