Grand Suur Moyra is a senior Lorite who attends the Plurality of Worlds Messal during the Convox. She sends her servitor, Karvall to find reading material for the rest of the avout servitors present and actively encourages them to question their assumptions about the ideas and events being discussed.
As a result of Moyra's encouragement, the servitors identify and unmask Jules Verne Durand as an alien to their cosmos without the knowledge of his Urnud minder.
